# Large Applications

### What's New?

Previously, global API keys were limited to large applications. **This is no longer the case**.

Global API keys are now split into two distinct categories:

* **Public Applications** (created via our API Dashboard)
* **Large Applications** (application required)
  * Large Apps are not required to use *Authorization Links,* and can send POST commands to any servers that share their Server-Key.
  * Large Apps may receive early access to new features for testing and preparation purposes.

## Requirements

In order to submit an application to be designated as a large application, you must meet the following criteria:

* 100+ unique ER:LC servers regularly using your app
* Your app must be available 24/7 with minimal downtime, and also be scalable, well-maintained, and consistently stable (few bugs or operational issues)
* Fully use the /v2/ API
  * *Clients may continue to use v1 APIs that are not available in v2.*

Please note, these are **baseline requirements**, when approving large app requests, we conduct a holistic review of your app, support team and processes, and general reputation within the Private Server community. Your request may still be denied even if you meet these requirements.

## I meet the requirements? How do I apply?

Please open a ticket in the PRC Discord through our **#support** channel.

You must **carefully** follow all of the below steps, failing to follow the steps may lead to your ticket being closed without a reply:

1. Use the "Open a support ticket" button and enter `Large Application API Key Designation Request`
2. In the second modal, provide all of the following information. The first line MUST read `I am requesting a large app designation.`
3. Then, on the following lines, please provide:
   1. Your service's name and website. If you do not have a website, link your Discord server.
   2. A list of ER:LC-related features provided by your service
   3. The number of **unique** ER:LC private servers that use your ER:LC integrations.
   4. A brief summary of how you currently handle rate limits from the ER:LC API.
